2. Responsibilities
As a Senior Piping Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Piping and Mechanical Engineering Activities: Lead and manage piping and mechanical engineering tasks for projects related to oil and gas production, upstream and downstream processing, petrochemical, and chemical industries.
- Review Project Documents: Evaluate and provide feedback on FEED Scope of Services and EPIC Scope of Work documents, ensuring technical specifications are met and all deliverables are clearly defined.
- Piping Discipline Deliverables: Oversee and review the preparation of key piping documents, including Plot Plans, Piping General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Pipe Support GA, Line Schedule, and Valve Schedule. You will also ensure the design and development of Piping Class Specifications, Material Selection, and Sour Service Requirements.

- Equipment and Vendor Management: Review and prepare Equipment Data Sheets and Material Requisitions for both static and rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors), and evaluate vendor submissions during the Technical Bid Evaluation process.
- Collaboration and Reviews: Participate in various reviews, including P&ID Reviews, 3D Model Reviews, Risk Assessment Studies, and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) sessions such as HAZID and HAZOP.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, international codes, and Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) requirements. Provide guidance to contractors and internal teams to meet these standards.
