We are looking for a Cleaning & Housekeeping Supervisor to manage day-to-day housekeeping operations. Responsibilities

As the Supervisor for Soft Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

Team Training and Supervision: You will be responsible for training the housekeeping staff on the best practices for cleaning activities. Oversee their daily tasks and ensure they understand their roles clearly.
Staff Briefing: Conduct daily briefings for staff to assign tasks and ensure that all cleaning responsibilities are well understood.
Quality Control: Inspect apartments, common areas, staircases, lounges, and other facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
Shift Management: Schedule staff shifts, ensuring that all areas are adequately staffed. Arrange replacements when team members are absent.
Hygiene Standards: Develop and enforce cleanliness and hygiene standards. Educate the team on best practices and maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times.
Team Motivation: Keep the team motivated, resolve any job-related issues, and provide guidance as needed.
Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints or special requests regarding cleanliness and ensure swift and effective resolution.
Stock Monitoring: Monitor and manage cleaning product stocks, ensuring that supplies are replenished regularly.
Large Cleaning Projects: Participate in major cleaning projects or tasks that may require extra attention, such as seasonal cleaning or event preparations.
Safety and Sanitation Compliance: Ensure all cleaning operations comply with the company’s safety and sanitation policies to guarantee a safe working environment for everyone.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are required:

Relevant Work Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, particularly within the hotel industry or large property management organizations. Experience in the GCC region is an added advantage.
Cleaning and Maintenance Knowledge: You must have hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment, tools, and products.
Team Management Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team of housekeepers efficiently.
