Responsibilities

As a System and Network Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Operational Duties:

  • Maintaining and configuring the Data Center to ensure uninterrupted services.
  • Configuring and managing LAN, WAN, WAF, and firewall connectivity to support seamless communication.
  • Providing IT infrastructure support to various organizational projects as needed.
  • Managing and enhancing the active directory, including sharing and resolving network-related issues.
  • Designing and implementing robust security access, backup, and disaster recovery plans to protect organizational data.
  • Setting up user accounts and configuring telecom devices for new employees.
  • Assisting in managing and analyzing access control and security systems for optimized safety.
  • Troubleshooting server, network, and printer issues to ensure minimal downtime and risk.

Support Activities:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining structured cabling, Active Network Cabling, and other connectivity technologies, such as Star Topology, IP Telephony, and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Providing prompt support to resolve day-to-day IT issues across departments.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking other duties or assignments as directed by the department head to support IT operations effectively.
